We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Lord and that salvation comes only through faith in Him ( 1 Jn. 2:2). We recognize His life, death, and resurrection as the process whereby God made it possible for us to be redeemed to Him.
We believe the Bible as the inerrant word of God in the original autographs. Prepared for our sake so that we might understand the significance of our sin and our complete inability to address our sinful state except through faith in Christ.( 2 Tim. 3:16, 2Pet. 1: 20-21)
We believe that Christ was born of a virgin, grew to manhood and was crucified. That He rose from death to life and that He will return one day to gather His followers to Him. (Matt. 1: 18-25, Luke 1: 26-28)
We believe that it is the duty of our church to represent Christ in our words and actions and to live out the instruction provided by the Bible, to the best of our abilities, to our families and community.
We believe that marriage can only exist between a natural born man and a natural born woman, and that abortion is a sin, however, as sinners ourselves, we understand that we are to love, and not judge, all who come into our lives as creations of a loving and merciful creator. (Gen 2:24, Matt. 19: 4-5 Jer. 1:5))
We perform communion on a regular basis. We believe that every believer should be baptized after accepting Christ as Savior. ( Acts 1:22 Acts 2:38) We do not believe that either of these practices are necessary elements of salvation.
